360 MKII Advanced LE Chest Protector

Following on from the MKI (discontinued), we now provide the MKII Heavyweight vest to users who require a more heavy duty version. As with the MKI the MKII heavyweight version offers 360 degree increased protection not only to the front and side but also to the shoulders and back, offering a level of protection to areas such as the spine, shoulder blades and kidneys etc against all manner of blows (including weapon attacks) from all directions to the upper torso.  These vests were always seen as a next step up from the current traditional sparring/competition style vests currently available. However what has now become apparent is that a number of you guys, especially the Police forces in both the UK and abroad are looking for a training vest that will go beyond these requirements and as such, following your feedback we have designed the MKII Heavyweight Chest Protector to offer the user a more advanced, harder wearing, increased functionality vest.

The MKII vest incorporates the following enhancements and improvements and has now been trialled and adopted by various bodies including the UK Police.

MK II Advanced Chest Protector

Advantage

2 Ply – High weave nylon fabric with heavy duty parachute material (Cordura) fused together using rubber latex and high heat. Easily cleanable.

A substantially stronger fabric & vest resulting in exponentially increased life expectancy while also allowing for a greater level of training to be experienced including medium intensity grappling/wrestling. (For full/high level grappling/wrestling techniques or riot control training scenarios we recommend the vest is worn underneath the users training overalls.

Front protection mid section panel added to increase drop length by 2"

Offers greater protection to the lower abdomen/groin area and to allow the vest to overlap secondary groin guards when worn.

Large central front and rear pads are now interchangeable and renewable via Velcro hook and loop closing pockets located on the inside of the vest.

Allows the user to replace/renew the large central high density, high impact protective pads and as such increase the life expectancy of the pads more in line with the new stronger fabric.

Removable upper arm/shoulder guard pads offering protection to the shoulders and upper arm area now included.

Removable upper arm guards add increased functionally and protection for the wearer when used for stick fighting/baton training etc. Can be worn with standard elbow, forearm pads and padded gloves for full arm protection.
