Krav Maga is a blend of self-defence and hand-to-hand combat. These techniques are made up of simple and natural movements that work in everyday environments and are easy to learn. We currently teach the Krav Maga self defence system in Bolton Bury Radcliffe (Lancashire) Macclesfield (Cheshire) and Central Manchester.

As well as weekly classes we also offer self-defence training to corporate customers and local businesses in the form of one to one sessions or seminars and 2 day intensive courses.

How Does Krav Maga Differ From Other Self-Defence Systems And Martial Arts?

A lot of other martial arts such as kick boxing - Thai boxing - Ju Jitsu - Judo - Karate - Taekwondo - Aikido and Kung Fu all claim to be self-defence systems, and don't get me wrong I have nothing against these systems. I've done some and have thoroughly enjoyed them. But all have a couple of things in common. Firstly, most take years to learn before you can put into use what you've been taught in a street environment. Krav Maga does not. After just 10 lessons we would expect most people to be able to defend themselves against the most common street attacks. Secondly most of the above are competition sports and as such they have rules. Krav Maga does not. We see self-defence as a "You and them scenario" and as such we believe that when a person is attacked they should be able to draw on all their weapons and knowledge and do anything that they may need to do to escape and survive an attack.
